Large Commercial Fire in Wilkes-Barre, PA

This large commercial fire in Wilkes-Barre, PA was the result of arson. It happened in the historic five story Masonic Temple building. When performing work on jobs of this size our technicians at SERVPRO of Hanover Township/Bear Creek like to set up staging areas for the consumables we use while cleaning. Our managers start by finding the best location for the staging area. This before picture shows a lower level room damaged by fire. The project manager chose this room because it had direct access to the parking lot and because it also had direct access to water, which can be vital when performing our mitigation services. The after picture shows the room cleaned and necessary demolition performed and supplies being set up.
