Flooded Warehouse in Nanticoke, PA
This flooded warehouse in Nanticoke, PA. was the result of Tropical Storm Lee that hit the Wilkes-Barre area in 2011. Days of continuous, soaking rain caused the Susquehanna River to reach flood stage and crest over the levee, affecting much of the Northeastern PA region. The flood caused water, mud and silt to affect many properties in the area. In the before photo you can see a portion of a large warehouse that was affected by the flood. Water and mud cover the floor and there is water marks 6 feet high on the drywall walls. The after picture shows the same area after our crews removed damaged material, cleaned the area and dried the structure.
