Summer 2020 Fire-pit Safety

Summer is almost here and if your friends or family have the itch to start up a fire in your yard and talk amongst each other under the stars then it is important that you and everyone involved understand some of the many fire-pit / bonfire safety rules. You may not think it but using fire-pits during the summer can be extremely dangerous if not done properly and if those there are negligent. Grass easily drys out during the summer, leaving every single blade extremely susceptible to catching fire with even just a tiny ember. 

To ensure that nothing happens, clear the area of any dry grass or plants and if possible keep a fire extinguisher or even a hose nearby. Its okay to have fun with friends, but its also your job to be vigilant and careful. Be knowledgeable, safe, and aware and have some fun this summer!
